Empire Sports (yeah we never heard of it either) is shooting for their 15 seconds of fame by claiming in a satirical article that Mark “The Undertaker” Calaway has passed away.
If you take the time to read the entire article the satire apparently appears in one sentence:
”I saw that he was sleeping so I went to wake him and nothing. Not even a hint of him waking up. So I got worried and tried shaking him and shoving him and even hitting him across the back with a folding chair. “
Get it?

Yeah, we didn’t find it funny either. All that this website is trying to do is cash in on the recent death of James Hellwig, The Ultimate Warrior by hoping that people believe it and share the story and so far, it seems to be working.
We won’t provide a link to the website because we find this sort of article to be bottom feeding. We also looked at their other satirical stories and thought the site just sucked. They are trying to be The Onion of sports and failing miserably. Then I saw the guy’s profile and realized he’s just your typical kid with an over-inflated ego:
”Im known as the biggest troll in the online world. I am a diehard Cowboys fan. I write for fun and because I seem to be good at it. Thank you to all who have read my articles and shared them. Hope you enjoy my writing I try to entertain not offend. Follow me on Twitter @***** and dont forgot to follow EmpireSports on Facebook and Twitter,”
If you’re going to tell people you’re good at writing at least proofread THAT sentence.
But, it’s worked; their traffic has massively spiked mostly because of people on Facebook who feel the need to share crap without verifying it.
