iPod thief attempts to 'friend' victim on Facebook

Posted by: Jon Ben-Mayor on 06/01/2014 08:19 AM [ comments Comments ]

A man in Bremerton, WA., was arrested after he was identified by his victim due to very distinct tattoo; Riley Allen Mullins hit the woman in the back of the head while she was sitting in the Bremerton ferry terminal, the cowardlycriminal then grabbed her iPod and purse and ran off.

The not so bright thug, then decided that the next day was long enough for her to forget him and sent the victim a friend request on Facebook. Mullins has a very distinctive tattoo of what looks to be a Celtic knot on his neck. The victim immediately recognized the tattoo and called police.

Police confirmed the Facebook account was registered to Mullins and that his profile photo shows he has a triangle tattoo.

Riley Allen Mullins, 28, was charged Friday with second-degree robbery.

Once Mullins is released there will be quite a few messages to read on his Facebook page, with people commenting that he is a "complete moron," "Please do us all a favor, and don't procreate. There are enough idiots in this world. Much appreciated" and my favorite, "Im sure this scrawny stupid little s@*t will be getting LOTS of "friend requests" in state prison." Indeed!
