IZArc is the first listing on MajorGeeks to include install warning with screenshots

A reader emailed us today and informed us that IZArc, a program to open archived file like ZIP, RAR, etc. was installing software with no opt out.
When we tested it again (it’s been over a year) we found there was NO decline option on the first screen. We did find, however, that if you ACCEPT the first offer, then decline from there that it does not install anything extra. It attempts to install software about 5 times and then ends with a comical donation page.
We debated removing it, but it’s an excellent program so instead IZArc gets the distinction of being the first program on MajorGeeks to get a warning, with screenshots, on the download page. Whether it remains on MajorGeeks remains to be seen considering the 5 star competition in free compression tools @ http://www.majorgeeks.com/mg/sortpopularity/compression.html.
