Meet Leyla Denise Aykin, who was spotted doing 87MPH in a 70 with her left foot and arm sticking out the window according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
Nothing unusual here, just a routine speeding ticket, right? Well, by the time she slowed to 27MPH she took off her scarf and held it out the window before letting it go.
The trooper said she did a wide stretch of her arms and âappeard highâ with a âlights on, nobody homeâ look in her eyes.
When the trooper then asked Aykin to place her hands on the rear of her car, she instead allegedly knelt down and said a Muslim prayer.
The trooper also wrote in the report that Aykin told him that she "wanted to taste me and gaze through me."
When asked where she was going, she said she wanted to âtaste the oceanâ before starting to sing and chant.
Finally the trooper inquired if there was anyone that she wanted authorities to contact on her bahalf.
Her answer: "Jesus," he wrote.
They found a green, leafy substance but thatâs probably ok because she said it was for tea. Oddly enough it field tested negative for marijuana.
The weird isnât over yet; she scored a 0.0000 on two blood alcohol tests.
Aa law enforcement drug recognition expert deemed her to be impaired -- on something.
