ScoreCloud Will Easily Transcribe Your Music

ScoreCloud is a software service for music notation, as well as sheet music storing and sharing. This is a great little freeware program for any musician (we do have a growing category aimed at all types of musicians) that has ideas but also has a problem getting them down on paper.



The core functionality of the service is the automatic creation of music notation directly from music performance or recordings. E.g. recorded from a performer singing, playing an instrument or for best results from a MIDI keyboard. Never again come up with a great riff, hook, or complete song and forget the notes you played.

ScoreCloud instantly turns your songs into sheet music, perfect for musicians, students, teachers, choirs and bands as well as composers and arrangers.

I have come up against these type of situations in the past; working on new music at the practice space, and someone comes up with a powerful rhythm line - you jam on it, develop it into a rough draft. And then once you get home to start further developing it into a completed song some of it is lost. ScoreCloud solves this by transcribing it as you are developing it. There is a companion app called ScoreCloud Express that puts that transcription power onto your handheld device - but so far it is only available via the App Store and not Android. But we will keep an eye out and add a link for Android in the event that it becomes available.
