Tin foil covered cardboard gun used by robbery suspect (MUGSHOT)

If you are going to commit a robbery and do not have access to a gun do not fear; you can simply put your MacGyver hat on and grab some cardboard and a roll of tin foil - presto instant felon!

According to the press release from the Ocala Police Department that is just what Timothy E. Foster did.

Foster entered the Martin Oil service station and attempted to conceal his identity with a bright yellow shirt, he pointed his hat covered hand at the clerk and demanded money.

Foster then pulled out what was later discovered to be cardboard covered in tin foil, and pointed it at the clerk, as well.

The suspect was unsuccessful in getting into the cash register; he ended up taking a donation can containing change from the counter and fleeing on a bicycle. No one was injured in the incident.

Foster was found hiding in the shed of a local residence and taken into custody by patrol officers and K-9 Brinson, cops said.

He is charged with Strong Armed Robbery.
