USB Ports Disabler Easily Disables/Enables USB Drives

Posted by: Jon Ben-Mayor on 12/29/2015 03:46 AM [ comments Comments ]

USB Ports Disabler is a straightforward USB tool that easily disables/enables all USB drives, it does so by disabling the USBSTOR service so Windows is unable to detect and identify USB devices connected to the computer.

The disabling of the ports is intended to prevent data theft and malware which can be spread easily through USB devices. The simple UI allows single click locking or unlocking of USB ports, which effectively restricts users from using USB drives on your computer, as well as disabling the USB drive detection on your Windows system.

We advise you not to disable USB ports if your mouse or keyboard are USB connected - it will create a problem for you.
