Black Screen is a small eye-saver utility designed for users who spend extended periods at their computers.

These days with more jobs being done from home, a program to help users new to the home working environment is vital. This little app has a few useful features that remind you to rest your eyes, take periodic breaks as well as helping to reset your attention. By pressing ctrl + alt + F10, it will turn your screen black. Press it again to return to your desktop.

Black Screen also allows you to set break intervals. You can set it up to provide a break after 30 minutes and have it last for 7 minutes, for instance. This option makes sure you give your eyes and mind a break. There is also the option instead of the simple black screen. This alternate option provides random (or keyword directed) images to flash onto your screen to divert your attention away momentarily. Any screen can be voided with a simple keystroke.
