ReClock Directshow Filter is designed to get rid of jerky playback of video, including AVI, MKV, DVD, Blu-ray and more on your Windows devices including Home Theater PC also known as HTPC.

It works by replacing the DirectSound Audio Renderer, the default audio rendering filter that is used by Microsoft DirectShow. By providing a new reference clock, it is set to the video card hardware clock and should eliminate your stuttering problems. Because of this, it is also a frame rate adapter for media files that do not match the video card refresh rate.

Reclock can also fix the so called PAL Speedup.

A couple of apps it works well with include SmoothVideo Project (SVP) and Media Player Classic Home Cinema.

During installation, you can install MPC-HE and others at the same time under "3rd-party software (optional)".

Limitations:
ReClock requires and should be installed after installing your favorite video app.
