I saw an article on this and wished I could see it real time without the need of traveling to Dusseldorf, Germany - then it occurred to me, I know someone who may actually attempt to acquire this robotic vehicle mover - then I get to play with it.... I wonder if it will be able to move a motorcycle, perhaps an electric one at that as well??
The valet which has been named "Ray" lives at the Dusseldorf airport and officially goes into service today. "Ray" can lift a car weighing approximately 3 tons and glide it into one of 249 pre-selected parking spots, all for just under $40.00.
The traveler simply leaves the car in the designated area and confirms it's empty via the smartphone app, which I was unable to locate a specific example of for this post other than the general airport info one.
