Unlock files and folders locked by malware with GrantPerms

If you find yourself an unfortunate victim of being locked out of your files and folders due to malware - there are various options you can use; one of which is GrantPerms portable. This handy tool will allow you to unlock those files as well as check permissions and get back up and running with relative ease.

Sometimes removing malware can be difficult due to locked files or folders. While you can boot into safe mode in most cases, that’s not a 100% guarantee as any tech knows. When you have this problem, GrantPerms is a portable tool that can be used to check permissions as well as unlock multiple files and folders. It requires that you enter the full path to the file or folder command line style (C:folder namefilename) so your best bet is to just scan a folder rather than a single file for simplicity. Drag and drop would have been a nice feature in this program but it gets the job done.
