While there are thousands of apps and online tools to create an HTML document or take notes, you might not be aware that you could create a basic HTML document.

While you can't insert images or use HTML, you can save a document similar to a text document that you can open and edit as a web page at any time.

The answer is right in your web browser.

Video tutorial:

Open a new tab and type in:

data:text/html,

in your address bar or a new tab, and press Enter.

You will see a blank page. Begin typing whatever you want.

To save the document, click on the three dots to open Settings > More Tools > Save page as.

Choose a name and location, and click Save.

Double-click on your HTML or right-click and choose Open with and choose your web browser to edit your HTML later.
