DarkAudacity is an open-source branch of the popular audio editor and recorder Audacity - just darker.



It gives you a darker version of Audacity that features orange on black and modern icons borrowed from Google's 'Material Design' icon set.

DarkAudacity retains all of Audacity's excellent functionality and instead aims for a different, darker theme to produce your sounds with.

Everything done is based on feedback from Audacity users and the author's personal tastes. Here are some examples of what it does. DarkAudacity simplifies the menu some, offers a cleaner meter with no numbers, and removes what they consider "clutter" including some sliders, etc.
