Show or Hide NVIDIA Display GPU Activity Icon in System Tray

By Timothy Tibbetts

on 06/26/2023

NVIDIA drivers offer the option of accessing NVIDIA GPU Activity in the notification area, also known as the System Tray. You can easily add or remove this.

NVIDIA GPU Activity shows you which programs are being run with your NVIDIA graphics card. It's best used to diagnose problems if you suspect another running program is using too much of your graphic card affecting your games.

Video tutorial:

Click on Start > NVIDIA Control Panel or press the Windows Key + S and type in and click on NVIDIA Control Panel.

Click on the Desktop tab.

Click on Display GPU Activity Icon in Notification Area.

A blue checkmark means that the setting is enabled.
