Add or Remove Open in Windows Terminal contains the registry files to add or remove 'Open in Windows Terminal' from the Windows 11 Context Menu.
Windows 11 now features Windows Terminal, a better way to use the command-line, including PowerShell and the Command Prompt. It is the first worthwhile upgrade to command-line tools since PowerShell. When you right-click on the Desktop, Open in Windows Terminal is one of the Context Menu items available, which you can remove for the current or all users.
Download 'Remove Open in Windows Terminal Context Menu' and extract the two files.
For all users, double-click on Open in Windows_Terminal Context Menu ALL Users - REMOVE.reg or Open in Windows_Terminal Context Menu ALL Users - ADD.reg (Default).
For the current user only, double-click on Open in Windows_Terminal Context Menu CURRENT User - REMOVE.reg or Open in Windows_Terminal Context Menu CURRENT User - ADD.reg (Default).
Click Yes when prompted by User Account Control.
Click Yes when prompted by Registry Editor.
Click OK when prompted by the Registry Editor.
You might need to reboot or restart Explorer.
