Add or Remove the Microsoft OneDrive Shortcut in File Explorer

Add or Remove the OneDrive Shortcut in File Explorer contains the registry files to quickly remove, or restore the OneDrive Shortcut in the navigation pane in File Explorer.
We need to edit the registry, but because there are three changes to be made, we recommend using our downloadable registry files rather than editing the registry yourself.
After you download the files, extract wherever you like and double-click on Remove OneDrive in File Explorer.reg to remove the shortcut. Double-click Restore OneDrive in File Explorer.reg if you change your mind later.
As with any registry file, you'll need to click Yes when the User Account Control appears and click Yes again when prompted the editing the registry could be the end of the world.
That's all there is to it. The OneDrive shortcut will immediately disappear with no need to reboot.

Note that you're only removing the shortcut in File Explorer for the current user, not uninstalling Microsoft OneDrive.
