AM-DeadLink is a useful application that can detect dead links and duplicates in your browser bookmarks.

If a Bookmark has become unavailable, you can then verify it via the internal preview and delete it from your browser. Additionally, you can download/update the FavIcons of all your Favorites from the Browsers Internet Explorer and Opera.

AM-DeadLink only checks your browser bookmarks and bookmark lists for valid/invalid URLs.

AM-DeadLink is capable of checking URLs from the following:

  • Tab delimited files
  • CSV files
  • HTML files
  • Chrome bookmarks
  • Firefox bookmarks
  • Vivaldi bookmarks
  • Internet Explorer Favorites
  • Opera bookmarks

    Limitations:
    Starting with AM-DeadLink 4.7, it's no longer possible to change or delete bookmarks from your Internet Browser. Browser bookmarks should only be deleted within the browser user interface, not via external tools.
