Background Terminal provides you with a customizable terminal to integrate with your desktop background on your Windows 10 machine.

With Background Terminal, you have a customizable option for visualizing the impact of your favorite processes and apps on CPU performance. It is displayed as a desktop overlay and allows you to position it wherever you want on the desktop. You can also adjust its size and change the font's color and size (hex values required) from the app's pop-up configuration window. You can also add in triggers from there as well if desired.

An app such as Background Terminal is a wonderful resource for monitoring the impact of certain processes/apps against your CPU's overall performance. And having this info up and running keeps you fully informed as you go about your business allowing for knowledgeable decisions for performance improvement. What's more, it is just cool.
