Add or Remove Linux From the File Explorer Navigation Pane contains the registry files to add or remove the link to Linux from File Explorer.

If you have installed the Linux subsystem on Windows 11, you should see Linux in the navigation pane of File Explorer. If you don't see it or want to remove it, you can use our registry files.

Download 'Add or Remove Linux From the File Explorer Navigation Pane' and extract the two files.

Double-click on Linux Navigation Pane File Explorer - ADD.reg or Linux Navigation Pane File Explorer - REMOVE.

Click Yes when prompted by User Account Control.
Click Yes when prompted by Registry Editor.

Click OK when prompted by the Registry Editor.

You can close and reopen File Explorer, or restart Explorer.
