No Crappy Passwords works by hashing the crap out of your crappy password input producing an eighty-five-character password that can be easily copied to the clipboard.
When a password is sent to a website, database, or other software requiring a password, that password isn't stored on the remote server; instead, a hash of that password is stored. Hackers can perform brute force attacks in an attempt to obtain all weak and crappy passwords like amin1, password!, etc. This situation can be worse if the server in question is improperly salting or not salting at all.
No Crappy Passwords was designed to eliminate this potential vulnerability by making your password unique through hashing. The cool thing about No Crappy Passwords is that you don't have to remember these long passwords, only the crappy password that produced it. The hashing digest used is SHA256, and the encryption routine used every few
cycles is RC4. This "encryption" doesn't secure anything; it only randomizes things further.
