MajorGeek says: Speed Test Logger is designed to allow you the ability to automate the download speed testing process - never again worry about having to manually begin a test because this application will do it for you.
Once you have downloaded Speed Test Logger for Windows, it will begin displaying your download speeds at predetermined intervals on a CSV text file which generates download speeds over time graphs. There is an option for shorter time intervals that you can request (for free). That particular feature was left out in an attempt to ease strain on the test server.
Not only does Speed Test Logger display download speeds; it also gives status changes as well as error messages, thus giving you the added ability to efficiently track down and provide pertinent information while you're attempting to resolve a connectivity issue.
It is also useful if you are considering changing your ISP as it will show you just how reliable they are (or aren't).
Free and open-source download speed test logger for Windows to automate and measure the reliability of your Internet service provider, Wifi or mobile network.
