Google: Glass for everyone!

Google has opened up the Google Glass Beta program to everyone in the US, that is everyone with a spare $1500 sitting around of course. The move comes after overwhelming interest in Glass prompted the internet giant to expand the previously restricted Beta program.

Google learned a lot when they opened their site a few weeks ago, "so we’ve decided to move to a more open beta. We’re still in the Explorer Program while we continue to improve our hardware and software, but starting today anyone in the US can buy the Glass Explorer Edition, as long as we have it on hand."

"We’re ready to keep meeting new Explorers, and we can’t wait to hear all your experiences and feedback to continue to make Glass even better, ahead of our wider consumer release."

So, if you missed that 'one day' event back in April, grab the mortgage payment, run out and get some Glass - while they last.
