How to Disable Cortana From Starting Automatically in Windows 10

Starting with Windows 10 build 2004, Microsoft has made some changes to Cortana, including how to disable Cortana from starting with Windows. You can also uninstall or reinstall Cortana.
Open Task Manager.
If Task Manager opens minimized, click on More details.
Starting in Windows 10 build 2004, you need to click on the Startup tab.
Right-click on Cortana and click Disable. You can also click on Cortana and click Disable in the lower right corner.
Before Windows 10 build 2004, the Cortana process can be found where you started, in the Processes tab.
