WhatPulse is designed for those curious about how much actual PC work is done by logging exactly what you are doing while working.
WhatPulse measures your keyboard/mouse usage, downloads/uploads, and uptime. It compiles the statistics and allows you to transmit them to the website so you can analyze your computing life, compete against or with your friends, and compare your statistics to other people. It can provide you with a keystroke by keystroke tally of, most frequently used apps and which apps utilize the greatest amount of bandwidth.
WhatPulse works by tracking pressed keys, mouse clicks, used bandwidth, and the uptime of your system. The latest versions of WhatPulse included some anti-cheat measures, including 50 keys per second maximum. Unlike keyloggers, WhatPulse does not actually record the order in which keys are pressed but instead counts the number of times keys are pressed.
