You might have heard to slang Bussin on social media or in real life and wondered what it meant. Don't be a Janelle; let us explain what Bussin means.
Bussin is slang for very good, almost always associated with food.
Bussin has been around since 2017 but really took off in 2021 when TikTok user Janelle Rohner asked people what Bussin meant.
“I’ve seen all the comments and duets, and I have to be honest. I have no idea what bussin means?? Like I have no idea? Someone please fill me in because I’m so confused.”

Nowadays, you might hear people using bussin in restaurants or anywhere food is served. While you can use bussin to praise almost everything, that's really not the intent. I first heard the term when my neighbor's kids were using it to discuss food, and like Janelle, I have to stop and ask them what they were saying. Yes, I am well past that old.
