How to Create a Signature in Gmail
By Timothy Tibbetts |
If you use Gmail frequently, you might want to take advantage of creating a signature to add at the end of every email. It's easy to create and customize your unique signature.
While you can add a signature on your mobile device, using a Desktop PC offers more customization.
Open Gmail.
Click on the gear icon in the top-right corner.
Click on See all settings.
Scroll down to Signature, and click Create new.

Type in your signature, then click on Create.

If you like, you can create more signatures now by clicking Create new again.
Now we can customize your signature, and there are plenty of options.
At the bottom, you might want to choose a default action for new emails and replies or forwarded emails.
Near the top, there's an entire row of options. These include:
Font style
Font size
Bold
Italic
Underline
Text color
Link

After those options is a collection of ways to align how your signature is displayed.
Click on Save Changes at the bottom when you're happy with that signature.
