Windows 10 & 11 error 0xC1900101 – 0x4000D can appear during a major upgrade or occasionally when installing Windows 10. Fixing this problem is different than most upgrade or update errors.
The full error might read, "The Installation failed during SECOND_BOOT phase with an error during MIGRATE_DATA operation."
Often, upgrade or update error fixes include using Windows Repair, a troubleshooter, or manually deleting temporary install folders. None of that applies here. 0xC1900101 – 0x4000D is a particular error that should be resolved by updating your drivers.
