What Is the Update Orchestrator Service (UsoSvc)?

One service you may not recognize is the Update Orchestrator Service (UsoSvc). UsoSvc is critical to Windows downloading the latest Windows Updates.
The default settings for the Update Orchestrator Service (UsoSvc) is Automatic (Delayed Start) and Running.

If the Service is not set correctly, you may have a problem with Windows Updates. Your best bet would be to run the Windows Update troubleshooter.
You may also run into an error stating that the Update Orchestrator Service is turned off. You might need to repair Windows Updates with DISM.
You may have stumbled onto this service because it's using a lot of CPU or memory. Note that this is almost always temporary if Windows Update is checking for, or installing updates.
In this case, you can click Stop to stop the service, but you can't change the startup type.
