How to Find and Save Your Windows 10 & 11 Login Screen Pictures
By Timothy Tibbetts |
The login screen in Windows 10 often shows you an image or background picture. You can easily find and download these images.
Open File Explorer and navigate to:
C:\Users\YOUR USERNAME\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.Windows.ContentDeliveryManager_cw5n1h2txyewy\LocalState\Assets
Replace YOUR USERNAME with your computers name. Note that AppData is a hidden folder.
Click on the Size tab so that the largest images are listed first.
Double-click on any file to see what image it is.
Copy any image you want to save to a folder (Pictures). Now, click the file twice, slowly. Add .jpg to the end of the file name, or completely rename it.
