CortanaKiller is a simple executable for permanently killing the Cortana background task on your Windows 10 machine.

If you are tired of Cortana running in the background and would prefer not to edit the registry to stop the process, then CortanaKiller is potentially what you are looking for - It is an executable that will kill the background tasks of Cortana.

Pre-Windows 10 Anniversary Edition, you had the option to turn off Cortana. This is no longer the case. So, if you prefer not to have it running in the background and collecting data as it does, then this is the ticket.
