It is designed to help you separately from your Windows OS, which is essential when a persistent malware threat has rendered your system inoperable. This is done by accessing the file system and the hard disk allowing meticulous on-demand boot sector or existing partition scans. ESET SysRescue can be deployed to effectively mitigate those types of circumstances by granting you the ability to run a full system scan and successfully remove the malware threats potentially causing the issue. The ability to be launched from a bootable USB drive, CD, or DVD is made relatively simple by incorporating a wizard-like interface to proceed through creating bootable USB in Live USB Creator.

ESET SysRescue Live can be used to restore your computer if it is damaged by malware or other threats. If you experience a persistent malware issue, you can boot from a "rescue disk" that you have created directly into ESET SysRescue Live and use the utility to scan and clean your system. ESET SysRescue has been tested with Windows 10 but is not officially supported.
