Right-Click Restart Explorer is a simple free portable option to restart File Explorer.

Right-Click Restart Explorer is designed for restarting explorer.exe directly from your right-click context menu. This fact eliminates the need to navigate to your task manager or any of the other methods that are slightly more time-wasting. It is a solution that will be of use to virtually any user that has experienced explorer.exe hanging or any other scenario that requires a restart.

Once Right-Click Restart Explorer is deployed all that you will need to do is select the Restart Explorer from the context menu. It will notify and warn you that open processes will be shut down, etc., before entirely proceeding. Simple, to the point, and fully usable for any skill level.
