The idea behind sSpeedtest is when you experience upload issues with your home internet connection, it can help show your ISP that the issue is with their peering and not your equipment, etc.

sSpeedtest will run speed tests on various Speedtest.net servers all over the world. It will propagate with several automatically, but you can also choose to add your own if desired. Adding your own can give a more well-rounded insight into issues. It also includes an option to quickly add a group of Speedtest.net servers closest to you.
