Stealth allows you to manipulate the opacity of active windows through a simple Open Source app.

Stealth can set the target window transparency quickly on the fly, and pinning that target on top is desired. It will also list all available windows. These operations are performed through the simple interface that consists of a slider for each window's opacity. You can also filter the selections by showing modified windows only, hiding removed windows, and on a window title.

Stealth will eliminate the need to jump back and forth between apps by allowing you to view what you need to see when you want to see it.
