Syncthing is a portable Open Source replacement from proprietary sync and cloud services designed to be safe, secure, and decentralized.

It works by continuously synchronizing files between two or more computers making user interaction very limited. And it utilizes a browser-based GUI, which permits you to configure and monitor file-sharing activity easily.

Syncthing gives you control over where your data is stored, whether it's shared with third parties, and how it is transmitted over the Internet. This file-sharing differs from other similar apps by not storing your data anywhere else by not using any third-party servers. Any communications are secured via TLS, and as an extra bit of security, every node is identified using a strong cryptographic certificate. Only the nodes you have explicitly allowed will be able to connect to your cluster.
