Windows Toolbox is a PowerShell script for advanced users to debloat Windows 10 & 11 and apply additional tweaks and privacy settings.
Open a PowerShell window as Administrator where you saved the file, and execute the following two lines:
Set-ExecutionPolicy Unrestricted -Scope CurrentUser
ls -Recurse *.ps*1 | Unblock-File
Close the PowerShell window, and double-click on WindowsToolbox.cmd.
Choose Winget or Chocolatey. We recommend Winget; otherwise, Chocolatey will have to be installed if it isn't already.
You will be prompted to create a Restore Point, which we recommend. Run all commands by using your keyboard arrows and the Enter key.
You can choose from a category including Debloat, Privacy Settings, Tweaks, and Install Apps. There is also an Undo and Options section.
The app's biggest problem appears here. If you browse a category, there is no back button, meaning you have to close and restart the app if you don't make any changes. Still, there are numerous tweaks available that most people will be interested in. We tested numerous tweaks blindly and experienced no problems with our computer.
Windows Toolbox isn't the easiest or most complete app to debloat your Windows 10 or 11, and it's not the best, but it's an option for those who like the tweaks provided.
