WotWord is another word guessing game similar to Wordle, Jotto, and other games, the player has to guess the hidden word by presenting words that are scored according to which letters are in the hidden word.

Wotword comprises an input row at the top, play area rows in the middle, and an alphabet box at the bottom. It has a popup menu on the right mouse button. The two columns on the right are the score columns.

The left most of the two score columns shows the number of letters in the input word in the correct place, and the right column shows the number of letters in the hidden word found in the input word. It has levels of difficulty to suit a range of players. The word length can be 4,5,6, or 7 letters, and the player can set the degree of assistance.
The most challenging play is using only the score columns, a game similar to Jotto where there is little feedback on input words.

There are options in the menu to vary the game, each making the game a little less challenging:

Colorize letters will color the letter squares using the same colors as the score columns, showing how each letter scores. Each is scored individually, either in the same place as the hidden word, in the word but the wrong place, or not in the word.

Delete letters will delete letters from the alphabet at the bottom that are tried and not found in the hidden word.

The maximum target number of attempts can be set by using Target rows. Six is probably reasonable for the less complicated options, while 15 is probably not enough for the most difficult! If the maximum is reached, the game will end.

The application randomly chooses the hidden word when the game is reset or the challenge level changes. If Play daily word is checked, the selection uses an algorithm based on the day number, and every player will have the same hidden word on that day, helpful if competing with others. If unchecked, the word chosen is random. Of course, all players require duplicate text files to compete.
