yWriter is a word processor designed to assist book writers by breaking your book into chapters and scenes while helping you keep track of your work.

yWriter is as simple as you want it to be. It's simple to get started with tabs for Content, Description, Characters, Locations, Items, Scene Notes, and Goals. Just start writing. There are numerous options across the top that allow you to get as geeky as you like. There are the usual tabs and Reports, Search, Chapter, Scene, Characters, Locations, Items, tools, Localize, and Help.

During the installation, you can associate .yW5 files and install a sample project so that you can tinker and get familiar with yWriter. If not, you are automatically directed to create a new project.

If you're writing a book, we all know you can do it in PDF format and more, but yWriter is tough to beat if you want to write a high-quality, professional book.
