wxMP3gain is a free front-end for MP3gain designed for adjusting the gain of MP3 tracks easily. wxMP3gain is a free front-end for MP3gain designed for adjusting the gain of MP3 tracks easily. A portable version is also available.
wxMP3gain analyzes and adjusts your MP3 files so that they have the same volume. Any changes wxMP3gain makes will be completely lossless; this is because it adjusts the MP3 file directly, without the need for decoding and re-encoding.
Once set up, wxMP3gain can rapidly analyze files for various data like current volume, clipping, gain as well as tag information. The interface is easy-to-navigate and permits you to add tracks either by drag n' drop, tree view or standard selection.
You also have the option to set wxMP3gain to lower the gain automatically - this can prevent audio clipping, and utilize APEv2 or ID3v2 tags. It also allows overwriting of existing files.
