How to Disable Xbox Achievement Notifications in Windows 10 & 11
By Timothy Tibbetts |
The Xbox Game Bar can be a great feature for gamers, but the notifications can be annoying. Here's how to disable some, or all, Xbox notifications.
Begin by opening the Xbox game bar at Start > Xbox Game Bar or press the Windows Key + G.
Click on the gear icon located at the top right.
Click on Notifications.
As you can now see, you have numerous notification options (General and Xbox Social), so you can pick and choose whichever notification you want.
The General section allows you to pick from the following options to quiet things down easily:
Silence notification sounds
Hide notifications when I'm playing a fullscreen game
Notify me when I unlock achievements
The Xbox Social section allows you to pick from the following options to quiet things down easily:
Notify me when I get a new message
Notify me when I'm invited to a party or multiplayer game
Notify me when someone new follows me
Notify me when my friends are online (All or favorites)
Notify me when my friends launch the game I'm playing (All or favorites)
