How to Add All Tasks or God Mode to the Control Panel
By Timothy Tibbetts |
Using some registry files, we can add All Tasks, or God Mode, to your Control Panel for quick access.
One glaring problem is that Windows 10 uses Settings now and not the Control Panel. To open the Control Panel instead of settings, see How to Open the Control Panel Instead of Settings on Windows 10.
Of course, you can run All Tasks or God Mode by pressing the Windows Key + R and type in:
shell:::{ED7BA470-8E54-465E-825C-99712043E01C}.
You can also create a Desktop shortcut by right-clicking on your Desktop and click New > Shortcut.
Type in:
C:\Windows\explorer.exe shell:::{ED7BA470-8E54-465E-825C-99712043E01C} and press OK.
You might want to change the icon.
To change the default icon, right-click on your new shortcut and click Properties.
Click on Change icon.
Choose from the available icons or type in C:\Windows\System32\imageres.dll where you see Look for icons in this file to see many more modern icons.
Once you find an icon you like, click on it and click OK.
Download Add All Tasks or God Mode to the Control Panel.zip and extract the files and click on Add All Tasks or God Mode To Control Panel.reg to enable or Remove All Tasks or God Mode From Control Panel.reg to restore your original settings.
No reboot is required.
