Network Connections is a useful Control Panel section that allows you to manage your network connections, including Ethernet, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and Virtual Machines. Here's how to access your Network Connections settings.

Somewhere in 2021, Microsoft removed the Control Panel access to Network Connections. If you haven't heard, Microsoft said they would remove the Control Panel, then changed their mind after criticism from advanced users, tech, and IT customers. They have continued to waver back and forth on this issue, but Microsoft has restored Control Panel access to Network Connections for now.

Most of your network settings can be found in Start > Settings > Network & internet.

While this is one of the places we feel Settings works as well, if not better than the Control Panel, many of us are used to accessing Network Connections as a habit.

To open Network Connections, press the Windows Key + R, type in ncpa.cpl, and press Enter.

Hopefully, Microsoft will leave this alone in the future.
