What Does TBT Mean?

The internet is full of acronyms, and TBT is one that you might have seen on social media.
Acronyms are abbreviations of words used to cut down on the time it takes to type. Acronyms are often typed and easier to understand when typed in capital letters.
There's no shame in seeing an acronym you don't recognize, and it's happened to everybody (or it eventually will).
TBT means "Throwback Thursday"
TBT is most commonly seen on social media, including Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter.
It's a fun way to flash back to another time and reaches other people using the hashtag #tbt.
Most of the time, people will post something that happened to them years ago with the #tbt hashtag to share their memories with others. This works well because social media, in general, is about the here and now.
Over the years, people have started using it on other days, using TBT to mean throwback. We're not big fans of the idea. TBT should be used to make Thursdays fun, in my humble opinion (IMHO).
People have also used other acronyms for other days of the week, including Flashback Friday (FF) or Way Back Wednesday (WBW).
TBH, like many acronyms, can be used as lowercase or uppercase.
