A Video File Renamer's sole purpose is to provide an easy way to rename video files created by specific security cameras.
A Video File Renamer is a portable app for renaming video files downloaded from your cloud account named in the Epoch time format. It will also be helpful for video files saved by a camera to an SD card (if your camera has an SD card slot) and video files that have already been renamed by this software (those that have "(AFR)" appended to the filename).
A Video File Renamer will be helpful when multiple files must be renamed. For instance, copying and pasting filenames into a web-based Epoch format converter was OK for about the first ten files, but if you have hundreds of files, you will be occupied for some time. That is why the author created this app. Also, if you have a video surveillance system at your home, you know that the default video names are usually very generic. A Video File Renamer allows you to create and save names that mean something to you, which will help keep them organized for future use if needed.
A Video File Renamer does not alter files other than renaming them.
