Create Restore Point is a freeware portable executable to launch and create a System Restore Point quickly.

Once downloaded, save the executable anywhere you like. Close all open programs and click on Create Restore Point.

You will see Restore Point created successfully! when completed.

MajorGeeks also has a free shortcut that opens System Restore, where you can manage everything.

You can accomplish the same thing with the following instructions:

Right-click a blank space on your Desktop and click New > Shortcut.

Type in %windir%\System32\SystemPropertiesProtection.exe

Enter a name for your shortcut.

Click on Finish.
