Peusens ForceEnd is a free application to force an application to close and restart.

Peusens ForceEnd is available as an installer or portable app less than 1MB. The interface is easy to use, showing all running processes and processes started while running. Furthermore, you can sort or update the list or even search for a process.

Options include Force End and BruteForce End for difficult processes.

Other options include the window on top, refresh speed, and BruteForce speed.

While you can always manually close an app with Task Manager, it lacks the numerous options of Peusens ForceEnd.
