HolzShots is an Open Source and free screenshot utility to simplify what happens when you take a screenshot.

If you've ever taken a screenshot and didn't like the hotkey or wanted to do more than copying your screenshot to your paint program, then you should find HotShots useful.

HolzShots runs as a portable app. Extract the files anywhere you like and run HolzShots.exe.

The interface is small, easy to navigate, and lightweight.

There are four tabs: Hotkeys, Upload, Misc, and Plugins. Take your time to find all of the settings you want to use. You can change hotkeys for certain uses, upload to DirectUpload.net, choose a save location, and more. You can also run HolzShots when Windows starts.

Everything else is well thought out. For example, if you decide to upload the file, you can auto-copy the link to the clipboard, manually create a link, and more. If you take a lot of screenshots, this free app can be a huge time saver.
