hyde for Chrome is a small extension that allows you to hide/show Youtube video player controls.

An extension such as this will be useful for those that frequently take screenshots of specific Youtube video frames as it eliminates the need to crop the player control display out of your screenshot. As many may know, when you pause a YouTube video, the player controls don't readily disappear. This fact makes it challenging to take a clean screenshot of the video. Not to mention that the controls also block your view.

Once added to your Chrome browser, hyde for Chrome allows you to hide or show the video player controls by hitting Control M. hyde for Chrome works in and out of fullscreen.
