Lightshot for Windows, Chrome, and Firefox is an app and extension/add-on that allows you to select any area on your desktop and take a screenshot with just two button clicks.

Lightshot is a straightforward, user-friendly app that lets you select a particular area on your desktop to be captured for a screenshot - with literally two clicks of the mouse.

This simplicity cuts edit time down to a minimum since you only capture the area you need allowing for quicksaves.

Lightshot also features the ability to match selected images from your screen with other similar images. You can also retrieve a short link by uploading your screenshot to the server; this allows you to quickly share the screenshot via the internet. This feature does require you to open an account at prntscr.com.

Those who don't want to install Lightshot as an app can get it if you have the Google Chrome web browser.
