Microsoft Program Install and Uninstall Troubleshooter will fix problems that block programs from being installed or removed including corrupted registry keys that prevent you from installing or removing programs.

This utility will help fix corrupted registry keys on 64-bit operating systems, registry keys that control the update data, problems that prevent new programs from being installed, and issues that prevent existing programs from being completely uninstalled or updated. It can also help with problems that block you from uninstalling a program through Add or Remove Programs (or Programs and Features) in the Control Panel.

To use Microsoft Program Install and Uninstall Troubleshooter, follow these steps; in the File Download dialog box, click Run or Open, and then follow the displayed steps. If you’re not on the machine experiencing the issue, you can save the troubleshooter to a flash drive or a CD, and then run it on the problem machine at your convenience. It doesn't get much more simple than that.
